First I wet felted the base of the bag and then needle felted the flowers and leaves. Next I did some free motion embroidery to pop the needle felting. The borders were needle felted on, and then I used the same fiber that I crocheted the strap with and used a button hole stitch to enhance the borders and sew the bag together. I lined it with a hand dyed cotton fabric. It measures approximately 6"w x 9"deep.

I have to confess that it's been awhile since I've been to your blog. Your felted purse is unbelieveable. I can't believe how much detail you got in the felting. This is simply an amazing piece.
